If things were lovely all the time, and all the days wee good, we never could appreciate, God's blessings as we should.
Hosea 14:9 reads--"The ways of the Lord are right." The ways of the Lord are not always pleasant ways. The way of the cross was rugged, Joseph's stepping stones to Egyptian power with God and men were rough ones. Moses days of 40 years in the wilderness of Sinai with the heat, the cold and the fear of death howled day and night. But God is His goodness and wisdom tempered Joseph and Moses for days of coming usefulness triumph. Are we being led by the Spirit of God saying: thy will be done," without staggering or complaining? Could it be there testings are disciplinary stepping stones to days and years of triumphant service? Such could be true.
